Marko Kumer – Murč: They are coming

Marko Kumer – Murč is the founder of the Slovenian production company EnaBanda, for which he worked until 2020, and the founder of Rusaalka, which focuses on documentaries.

His projects have been selected for numerous workshops and training courses, including being invited as “Focus Producer” to the renowned Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2015. He took part in numerous international film festivals with his films. Among other things, he was included twice at ZagrebDox (2017, 2020), with his short film Elvira at Midpoint (2016) and his film Janko at IN_Script (2015). Several of his projects are currently in production and post-production.

In Berlin he is developing the documentary They Are Coming. The story is about the colonization of European cities by wild boars. “Wild pigs have increased dramatically in recent years, which experts attribute to climate change – warming, shrinking habitat, increasing agricultural land and more food (garbage) in cities.
