What are the primary use cases? See project plan!

Many people have Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo, etc accounts. We should let users add those, if they desire.

Nongoals

• Not a new operating system.

An Overview

It is a combined search engine.

Is searches aggregated local database (fast!), then spawns a bunch of in-page ajax requests to retreive more results from other participating search engines (comprehensive!).

We might need to include a MediaWiki as well, for a more curated, culture.si like experience. Could and should probably include croudsourcing (users putting stuff onto wiki). Might need some kind of account management / single sign on stuff.

Infobox data for slo version could be fetched from RDF database, generated from curated eng version.

Imperatives

• Slovenian language is primary
• More useful than Google for research, etc
• First results must be fast (less than 5 seconds)

Tech Note: each search engine will probably need a special gateway, accesible on a separate URL. This should keep the implementation mess down.
