Part of [[Municipality of Ribnica|Ribnica Municipality's]] [[Mikl House Public Institute]], [[Mikl House Library]] is the municipal library for Ribnica.

The library in Ribnica was founded in [[established::1946]] but only acquired proper premises in 1991 within the restored Mikl House. Today the 307 square-metre library houses a collection of around 57,500 items and has more than 3,700 registered readers. The library has an 18-seat reading room and runs two branches in Sodražica and Loški potok respectively. Mikl House Library, Ribnica cooperates closely with the [[Mikl House Gallery]], organising concerts, literary evenings, exhibitions, lectures, and also events for children.
