The [[SKUP Award]]s are presented at the annual [[Slovene Festival of Chamber Theatre (SKUP)]], organised by the [[Ptuj City Theatre]] since [[established::2001]]. The festival's expert jury grants awards &ndash; satyrs &ndash; for outstanding achievements in the production of "chamber" theatre, ranging from satyr for best performance, best direction, satyr for acting achievement, best music, light, and set design, etc. The festival accepts one production each from the current season of any professional Slovene theatre.

The recently awarded performances were Mamet's ''Boston Marriage'' by [[Slovene National Theatre Drama Ljubljana|SNG Drama Ljubljana]] (in 2009), Strindberg's ''Miss Julie'' by [[Prešeren Theatre Kranj]], Galcerán's ''Grönholm Method'' by [[Ptuj City Theatre]], and Bulgakov's ''Don Quixote'' by [[Koper Theatre]] (in 2008).
