[[Morel Press Agency]] was established in 1992 as a private and independent press agency. The service contains between 50 and 100 daily news items from Slovenia (from local to state level) and abroad (in particular Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia) where Morel has its own journalists and partners. Morel co-operates with independent press agencies Fonet and Tiker from Belgrade, Sita from Bratislava, Montenafax from Podgorica, Tir-fax from Tirana, Bulnet from Bulgaria, Mediafax from Romania, the Czech Information Agency from the Czech Republic and the Baltic News Service from Estonia, offering news from the USA, Great Britain, Russia, Albania, Greece, China and Italy and covering politics, culture, science, sport and entertainment. The agency is financed only by selling information and is not financially supported by the government, thus the range of information, photos and notes offered to the public is wide.
