The [[Multimedia Centre of Dolenjska (MCD)|Multimedia Centre of Dolenjska]] has been active since late [[established::2003]] within the framework of [[LokalPatriot Institute]]. It functions as a regional multimedia centre and is part of the [[M3C Multimedia Centres Network of Slovenia]]. 

Digital culture has already made considerable strides among the local population, thereby ensuring the centre's popularity. Visitors can use new hardware and software for their own non-profit projects or participate in a range of creative and educational projects organised by the centre. A cybercafé is available at [[LokalPatriot Institute|LokalPatriot]] which also runs the regional multimedia web portal Dolenjska.info.

The MCD offers space, technical equipment and IT assistance to the regional festivals such as the [[Fotopub Festival of Documentary Photography]] that each year produces videos about the festival, exhibitions and video clips made by workshop participants.
