The Ljubljana-based group [[Rotor]] was formed in [[established::1998]] and a is a vibrant part of the Slovene dance and house scene. The driving force of Rotor is [[Iztok Turk]], the originator and key composer of Slovene techno music, also known for being the leading member of legendary 1980s groups like [[Videosex]], [[Otroci socializma]], and many others. Other members include the DJs from the [[Temponauta]] team.

In 2000 the group released the album ''Rotosphere'', which was released for the label EFA and is a result of collaboration with top-notch Slovene studio musicians and DJs. In 2010 the group played together with the indie pop attraction MGMT in Maribor.
