The Research and Documentation Center JAS was established in 2010 as a continuation of the ongoing projects basically aimed at creating an electronic database of Jewish Archive of Slovenia. The database enables further research of the Jewish heritage related topics. The center mainly focuses on research and documentation in the field of humanities and sociology. Special part of the activity presents research of cultural heritage and preparation of the conservation plans for renovation and restoration of the important historic architectural sites.
