The former homestead of Slovene writer Miško Kranjec was built in the 1930s. It started to operate as a museum of the (politically) progressive press in 1964, and is today arranged as the Miško Kranjec Homestead (1908–1983). It functions also as the local tourism office. The original ambience of the writer's study has been preserved with exhibits from his literary works and visual art. Museum is designed as an interesting combination of a commemorative room - a writer's study room with a library, galleries with the writer's oil paintings and his own photographs, and rooms where you can find out all about the writer's birthplace. In one part of the homestead is so called writer's room in which, at the invitation of the municipality, writers are supposed to reside and write.
