Max Club Jazz Festival
From 1999 till 2002 the club organised the Max Club Jazz Festival with the parallel Max Jazz Club Clinic, a series of workshops for young jazz musicians led by the late Croatian percussionist Boško Petrović. In March 2012, the club renewed the festival under the curatorship of saxophonist and composer Jure Pukl and producer Marko Kolšek within the Velenje Festival under the leadership of Maribor, European Capital of Culture 2012.
