The European Co-ordination of Film Festivals (ECFF) is a network of 250 audio-visual festivals with strong roots in the regions of Europe. Member festivals are dynamic, cultural events which have made a commitment to promote the diversity of the European moving image.

ECFF's mission is to develop all forms of services and joint-projects that will strength its members' promotion and circulation of the diversity of the European moving image, including (i) developing exchanges, co-operation and the transfer of good practice between festivals; (ii) encouraging trans-national partnerships between members; (iii) seeking global solutions to common problems; (iv) increasing the collective impact of festivals on the promotion and circulation of the European moving image; (v) promoting the cultural dimension and socio-economic roles of festivals; and (vi) informing European and International institutions about activities and issues concerning festivals.
