The band consists of a strong wind section accompanied by a guitarist, pianist, bassist and a drummer. For the purpose of presenting the album Depeched and also their covers of music by Radiohead and some other bands, they are sometimes also joined by vocalists and some additional instrumentalists. They also collaborated with the singer and Ray Charles music interpreter Uroš Perič, with whom they have held a concert on the stage of Križanke. Another curious collaboration of them is their appearance on the Nuked Festival, where they shared the stage with the pop band Zebra Dots. The Big Band Krško association also organizes workshops on musical improvisation.
Performances
Even before the album put them in the spotlight, Big Band Krško has played on various festivals such as the Lent Festival or Trnfest, and was also hosted on festivals outside Slovenia (Hungary, Croatia). They've been putting up regular concerts in their home region and for a time organized an annual festival for Slovenian big bands called Big Band Fest. Their gig on the stage of Gajo Jazz Club was even recorded by the national television. After the album and aside from the aforementioned appearances they also played on Rock Otočec, Bled Festival and others.
