Located in the centre of the town, it incorporates various departments: children's books, reference books, humanities, social and natural sciences, languages and literature. Literature and reference books are available here in various languages, and books by Slovene authors in foreign languages can also be purchased. It is also possible to order books or periodicals from abroad.
