Franc Ksaver Meško Library in Ormož is situated in Ormož Castle. The 500 square-metre library has six employees and manages a collection of over 50,000 items. Its registered readership is around 3,200 and users borrow around 65,000 items each year. The library has a youth department and also organises regular events for adults (slide presentations, lectures, book presentations and literary evenings).

In 2008, its users borrowed over 95,000 items. The library has a youth department and organises regular events for children and adults (fairy tale readings, playing hours, slide presentations, lectures, book presentations etc.). It also provides computer and foreign language courses.
