Vertigo Bird is a branch of the Slovene international lighting company Arcadia Lightwear, founded in 1989 by Silvo Kačar, and consists of several internationally renowned design companies and individual designers. The owner of the company himself is a member of the Vertigo Bird design group called Smoke Detektors.
Awards
In 2008 the light Luc by Arne Vehovar was nominated for BIO - Biennial of Industrial Design. In 2009 the light Slim designed by Bevk Perović Arhitekti won the prestigious Red Dot Award: Product Design. In 2009 Silvo Kačar and the brand Vertigo Bird received the TREND Award for the design achievements.
