The Castrumfoto International Workshop gather together each year approximately 10 artists working for 4 days in Ajdovščina and its surrounding. The participants of the 7th edition entitled ''Images of the tradition'' (Podobe tradicije) in 2009 had as usually 3 guests from Italy and Austria. Following participants took the part: Sara Occhipinti, [[Špela Volčič]], [[Martina Kofol]], Enzo Tedeschi, [[Branko Lenart]], Leo Caharija, [[Primož Brecelj]], [[Andrej Perko]] in [[Damjan Vidic]]. In 2006 photographers were working under the theme ''Images of the metal'' (Podobe kovine). Following participants took the part: Sara Occhipinti, Špela Volčič, Martina Kofol, Enzo Tedeschi, Branko Lenart, Leo Caharija, Primož Brecelj, Andrej Perko in Damjan Vidic.
