The Slovenian Scientific Institute Vienna was established in the year 2000 with the support of University of Ljubljana and University of Maribor in order to promote bilateral scientific co-operation between institutions and individuals Slovenia and Austria. The Institute offers support, grants and organisational help to researchers, institutions and also cares about the promotion of Slovene heritage in Vienna.
