The opening event of the festival in August 2003 was an ambient music performance by the Project Žlust, a folk-ethno-rock-pop group from Macedonia which collaborated with New York producer Malcolm Burn. Performances by the klezmer folk group La Famiglia Scannapiece from Italy and the Irish group Trebog followed, both performances being staged in the open-air next to Bar Pr’Gabrijelu in Cerkno.
