Previous festivals have included performers from Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Poland and Bulgaria, and also China, Brazil and Japan. A children’s jury confers the Cat in the Bag Award.
The Festival takes place in the Atrium and Knights’ Hall of Maribor Castle, at Maribor Puppet Theatre, and at the Narodni dom Maribor. Performances normally tour also to Ptuj, Lenart, Medvode, Nova Gorica, Celje and Lendava, and Slovene productions toured to Austria (Carinthia and Styria).
