The Faculty of Arts has 10 study departments: German Language and Literature, English and American Language and Literature, Slavic Languages and Literatures, Hungarian Language and Literature, Translation Science, Philosophy, Sociology, Geography, History and Pedagogics, Didactics and Psychology.
The Faculty of Arts offers MA studies in English Language and Literature, Geography, Culture-Philosophy-Education in Central Europe, German Language and three Education programmes: Slovene Language and Literature, Sociology and History. The PhD can be taken in English Language and Literature and Education.
