[[Ariart Woodwind Quintet]] was established in 1996 as an extension of the rich Slovene chamber music scene. The Quintet's name is a composite form of two Italian words aria (air and song), and arte (art, craft, handcraft, skill, artifice, magic). The ensemble of five young wind instrumentalists has attracted a great deal of public attention as a result of its numerous concerts and recordings. Its repertoire comprises works by Slovene composers, some of them composed specially for Ariart, as well as arrangements for flute (piccolo), oboe (English horn), clarinet (bass and E-flat), bassoon and French horn. | [[Ariart Woodwind Quintet]] was established in 1996 as an extension of the rich Slovene chamber music scene.
