PoEtika, an annual training and research programme in the art of film directing, was established within the [[Triglav Film]] in 2004 by Slovene film director Janez Lapajne. Its programme emphasises practice - from preparatory work with actors to the final film editing. The first PoEtika Autumn Academy of 2004 took place within the framework of the 15th [[Ljubljana Association of Puppeteers]]. Four young professional actors, all aged between 18 and 33, collaborated with an editor and a producer under the guidance of tutor Janez Lapajne, and the 10-day long intensive course resulted in creation of three short films.
