Synaptic is a group of Ljubljana based producers, DJs and VJs, who operate in the field of heterogeneous underground electronic music and multimedia art. They also organise club events and festivals, and run a record label Synaptic Pathways.

From the year 1998 on Synaptic is exploring and representing electronic genres such as IDM, all kinds of techno and house, minimal, bass and other alternative electronic post-genres. They hosted prominent foreign artists from alternative electronic scene, starting with Ben Frost, Shackleton, Pytzek, Mike Shannon, Moomin, Sutekh, Isolée and many more.

Most active current members of Synaptic are Shymann, Zergon, Nitz, Freeverse, Lux and Splinterhouse.
