Special emphasis is given to co-operation with Slovenes living on the other side of the border. The programme has previously featured guest folkloric groups from Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Spain, France, Finland, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Mongolia, and Canada, a total of 164 groups presenting around 400 performances.
