The Beletrina Bookshop was opened in January 2010 and founded by Študentska založba Publishing House. It is located in the heart of the city and offers a variety of different books by many Slovenian publishing houses and of course holds complete editions of the founding publishing house. On the surface of 60 m² bookshop houses the most referential works within several sections: literature, research and science literature in Slovenian and other languages, leisure-time literature, and a special section of children's books. The bookshop organises presentations of the authors and many literature events. In October, during the Nordic Week, the fairytale reading hours for children, fast course of Finnish language, and a quiz game is being organised. Throughout the whole year, the students buying at the Beletrina Bookshop receive a special discount.
