In 2007 the 26-day Lent Festival presented 400 musical, theatrical and literary events involving 3,900 performers from 36 countries, among them the band Living Colour and Maceo Parker. The Festival also included the Maribor component of the Ana Desetnica International Street Theatre Festival and stand-up comedy performances by Slovene and Croatian comedians, the Jazzlent and the Folkart International Folklore Festival.
The Festival is a member of the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA) and the Association of Slovene Festivals (SloFA).
The festival regularly attracts more than 500,000 spectators at over 23 venues, details of the main ones are available at http://www.slovenia.culturalprofiles.net.
