The festival, usually held at (if finances allow) five consecutive Fridays in July and August, has in recent years hosted chamber orchestras like the Ensemble Phoenix Munich, the Nova Schola Labacensis, the Musica cubicularis, Cappella Istropolitana, Martinu Quartet, Salzburg Soloists Chamber Quartet, Slovene Philharmonic String Chamber Orchestra, the Croatian pianist Lovro Pogorelić and the American soprano singer Kristin Lewis.
Additional festival locations are also Church of the Vision of St Mary, set in Strunjan, or The Church of St. Mary of the Rose in the neighbouring town Portorož.
