Uho; oko:, Institute of Art and Technology Maribor was founded in 2009 by the artist Marko Ornik - consists of a team of individuals of different ages, profiles, experience, ideas and knowledge in various fields. The institute has and its founder have since then either collaborated or independently produced quite a number of artistic projects that featured an international set of artists dealing with music, computer art, AV installations, even illustration and so on.

In 2012 the Centralna postaja, located in the old town centre of Maribor, was set up as a venue for various new media and sound events - and is uhooko central production unit since than. Aside from tzhe there, they've collaborated with International Festival of Computer Arts (IFCA), Festival Etnika, KIBLIX feetival, Izzven Jazz Festival and the Mariboring series.
