Welcome to the Spiritual Kingdom of Animals, a play based on Slavoj Žižek's writings and produced by Anton Podbevšek Theatre,
APT was launched in 2005 with Brecht's Galileo Galilei directed by M Berger, followed by the intimate dance spectacle Sun City, KONS BE60 and the musical fairy tale Peter and the Wolf. APT also runs the Academia educational programme in theatre speech, acting, directing and dance for the Novo mesto secondary school population. In addition to its performing arts and educational activities, APT also organises an art cinema programme and runs a photographic gallery.
