Lendava Synagogue
In the past the Lendava Synagogue functioned as religious centre for Jews from the Prekmurje region. It had room for about 150 worshippers, next to the synagogue there was a Jewish school and a residence for the rabbi. The former School was demolished in the end of the 90s.
Today the cultural and art programme in the Synagogue is managed by the Lendava-Lendva Institute for Culture and Promotion (ZKPL-MPIL). It serves as a venue for concerts and exhibitions, current exhibition is devoted to the history of Jews in the Lendava region.
