The Association of Slovene Festivals (SloFa) was established in June 2000 by four founding festivals - the SEVIQC Brežice Festival, the Festival Ljubljana, the Lent Festival and the Primorska Summer Festival, Koper-Capodistria. The contract obliges the four festivals to exchange experience, promote stronger joint performances at home and abroad, encourage investment in culture by Slovene artists abroad and promote international co-operation. The Association of Slovene Festivals is open to other festivals that feature mainly professional artists.
