In line with EBU directives, RTV Slovenia established its Multimedia Centre at the end of 2001. Its main goals are the development of multimedia applications, interactive support to radio and television broadcasting, and developments in the field of multimedia and training. MMC also manages RTV's Internet and Teletext services, subtitling for deaf people and video pages. It manages the Discography Unit and also undertakes a wide range of projects including the main RTV website with news, audio and image downloads on demand plus various thematic portals including Kultura, e-education at http://eizobrazevanje.rtvslo.si, a wap portal and a sport portal.
