Dežurni krivci is a progressive rock band from Prlekija, Eastern Slovenia. Formed in 1996 by guitarist and vocalist Leon Štrakl, guitarist Marko Čuš, bassist Tomas Tibaut and drummer Igor Ketiš, the band gained momentum with their 2000 performance at Novi rock festival in Ljubljana. Their first album Nikogaršnje mesto (daleč od ljubezni) [No one’s City (Far from Love)] was self-released in 2001 and immediately followed by a live acoustic version, recorded at the Val 202 radio program Izštekani [Unplugged]. Their second studio album Kakor človek [Like a Man] was produced by Aldo Ivančić and featured Meli from Psycho-Path as a guest vocalist. Their third album Strup [Poison] was produced by Hannes Jaeckel and self-released in 2007. They have played over 200 concerts in Slovenia, Croatia and Austria, including appearances at large festivals such as the Open Air Ottensheim. Dežurni krivci's albums are distributed by Dallas Records. The band is supported by God Bless This Mess Records and a member of the Prekmurje Noise Conspiracy (P-N-C).
