Past projects
During the years the club became an important venue at the LGBTIQ scene and was soon proclaimed as the "anti-stres for the sexual minorities". In the past, the Monokel anti-stress theraphy included photo exhibitions (by Ivanka Apostolova, Mojca Pišek, ...); theatre plays and performances (by Bridge Markland, Monosexual Theatre, ...); workshops and talks and book presentations (by Suzana Tratnik, Nicole Brossard, ...).
Collaborations
The venue regularly hosts events of the International Feminist and Queer Festival Red Dawns. In 2011 it hosted a performance and site responsive installation Blow Job by Inga Cholmogorova.
The Club is mainly open on the weekends
