The Pixxelpoint International Festival of Computer Art was launched in 2000 and presents digital artworks from around the world. Each year around 230 works, divided into graphics, animations, and interactive art and music, are presented in competition at the Nova Gorica City Gallery. The festival also features lectures, demonstrations and club evenings, which constitute a colourful addition to the programme. The aim of the Festival is to transfer computer art into real space and link artists from different backgrounds and territories. The organisers of the festival are Nova Gorica Arts Centre, Nova Gorica City Gallery, Blaž Erzetič Graphic Design and Rock Vibe.
