Editorial sections
The Academic Publishing Division consists of four field-related editorial sections: scientific publications; university level and other textbooks; professional publications; promotional materials. Numerous monographic and periodic publications published by the Academic Publishing Division of the Faculty of Arts are produced by the Scientific Research Institute of the Faculty of Arts, the Centre for Slovene as a Second/Foreign Language, and by various departments of the Faculty of Arts.
Publications
Publications include works which present the most recent research achievements in the humanities and social sciences, study literature, and expert works of interest to the wider public. Aside from scientific research monographs, proceedings, and study literature (cf. in book collections Acta Comparativistica Slovenica, Archaeologia historica Slovenica, BiblioThecaria, Etno je fletno, GeograFF, Historia, Historia artis, etc.) it also publishes 12 periodic professional journals, e.g. Acta Linguistica Asiatica, Acta Neophilologica, Ars & Humanitas, Asian and African Studies, Documenta Praehistorica, Keria, Linguistica, Musicological Annual and Verba Hispanica.
Since 2010, the recent published editions are regularly presented at the Liber.ac, Academic Book Fair.
Merchandise and presentations
All publications are available at the Faculty of Arts Bookshop, which, in cooperation with the Ljubljana University Press, Faculty of Arts, is responsible for publication sales. The publications are also available at bookshops around Slovenia. The Academic Publishing Division regularly presents new publications at press conferences by means of which it informs the wider public of the achievements of Slovene academics and researchers.
