The Consulate of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Koper is a honorary consular office. The official representative body is the Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Slovenia which is located in Ljubljana.

Activities

Honorary consular officers (in most cases foreign nationals) have no direct consular competences. They complement the Slovenian diplomatic network. Their role is limited to advising and offering useful information. They offer their services without remuneration, on their own and for their own account.
