"Music, words and the poetry of Gregor Strniša" - the launch of the poetry collection SPACE by Slovenian poet Gregor Strniša. Translator of Strniša's poetry Nada Grošelj will be presenting his poetry collection alongside poet and singer-songwriter Matej Krajnc, who created an album of selected Strniša’s poems with music. A fourth event in the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in London's series of concerts "Musical Bridge Between Slovenia and the UK" will be featuring a young award-winning Slovenian string quartet Opifex will join the internationally acclaimed flutist Lana Kuščer alongside her accomplished pianist partner Diego Caetano. The evening's repertoire will be featuring Mozart, Schumann, Penderecki, and the dynamic composition of rising Slovenian talent, Anže Rozman. Co-founded by the Cultural Fund run jointly by the Slovenian Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. The concerts' series is organised by Slovenian violinist Lana Trotovšek.

Cultural cooperation
The Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on Co-operation in the Fields of Education, Culture and Science was signed in 1994.
In 2008 the apartment in London was set up as a part of Arts & Culture Residencies Programme for Slovene artists, writers, translators, curators, critics or producers who are selected via an annual open call of the Ministry of Culture. The Slovene Arts & Culture Residency, London is managed by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in London.
The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in London participates in organisation of a range of cultural events.
