The Embassy of the Swiss Confederation provides consular, economic, and cultural services in Slovenia.

The Cultural Section of the Swiss embassy in Ljubljana is an associated partner of the EUNIC Slovenia, the Slovene cluster of the European Union National Institutes for Culture.

Cultural cooperation

The meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affaires in 2026 stressed the increased cooperation also in the areas of culture, science, research and education. Culture is an important aspect of bilateral relations. Slovenia hosted the Week of the Romansh Language, recognising the importance of multilingualism and cultural diversity.
