Programme
The programme is thematically divided according to the days of the week. Some days are divided according to musical flavours, covering world music, jazz to pop-rock, and regarding other cultural events, such as theatre performances, art exhibitions, children workshops and sport activities. Attendance is free of charge, and not only that, on the opening night of the festival you can also get a free piece of cake.
Background
The festival was launched to spice up Postojna's summer social life and to promote youth organisations in Postojna, especially the Postojna Youth Centre. By 2001, thanks to being well-received and anticipated among the residents and wider spectre of visitors, the festival was prolonged to a whole month and continued to be such until 2010. Due to the municipality's recent funding cuts, the festival has been shortened to two weeks.
