In July 2010 in Singapore, the Culture360 team organised a strategic partnership meeting of 16 experts to explore how culture360.org can effectively respond to the needs of civil societies and governments as well as the use of social media in engaging them. Žiga Kranjec, a developer from Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory, was invited to the meeting to present the Culture.si portal.
Creative Encounters project in Slovenia, Croatia and the Philippines
In 2015, Curating-In-Depth, a series of lectures and workshops on contemporary curatorial practices for emerging artists, critics, and curators from Slovenia, Croatia, and the Philippines, takes place first in Ljubljana then in the Philippines. The project via Asia-Europe non-governmental institutional collaborations confronts challenges in the field of curating and mediating the arts. Project partners SCCA-Ljubljana Centre for Contemporary Arts and the Philippines-based art centre Planting Rice, with the support of Croatian arts platform Kurziv, won the Creative Encounters grant.
