[[De Profundis Chamber Choir]] was established in 1990. Under the conductorship of Branka Potočnik Krajnik, the choir has launched a new project called Slovene Creativity - Folk Music in which the choir works on new adaptations of Slovene folk songs by Slovene composers (eg D Močnik, V Avsec, A Čopi, K Pustinek, B Jež Brezavšček, U Pompe, U Krek). In 1995 the choir was invited as a study orchestra to the European Symposium on Choral Music in Ljubljana. It received the Golden Plaque at the [[Naša pesem Choir Competition]] in 1997, 1999 and 2001, First Prize at Spittal Festival in 1997, a Grand Prix at Tolosa in Spain and a major prize at the International Competition at Powell River in Canada. Besides competitions, the De Profundis Chamber Choir has performed many concerts in Slovenia and in Germany, Spain, Italy, Croatia and Slovakia.

De Profundis Chamber Choir was established in 1990. Under the conductorship of Branka Potočnik Krajnik, the choir has gained a reputation of being among the finest interpreters of vocal music.
