Ever since, they have been issuing fiction, poetry, children's literature, historical works, dictionaries, and handbooks. Particular effort is invested into publishing and promoting Slovene authors living in Trieste and elsewhere in Italy, such as [[Boris Pahor]], [[Alojz Rebula]], and [[Miroslav Košuta]]. To make Slovene literature and culture more accessible to the Italian readership, Mladika also publishes works in Italian. Vstajenje ("Resurrection") is a literary award presented by Mladika to recognise outstanding literary works by Slovene authors who live in neighbouring and other foreign countries. | ||
