Fičo Ballet's dance and theatre projects aim to reflect the 'emotional landscape of the everyday'. Combining playfulness and skill, Fičo Ballet redefine dance virtuosity. Since its establishment, Fičo Ballet created many performances, among others also 1:0 (2000), Sweat and Soot (2001), I:move (2003), Emofad – Emotivity of Adventure (2003), Confi-dance (2004), Edge of Eden (2005), and Sun City (2006/7). In April 2008, JOHN, premiered at Joyce SOHO, New York City. Fičo Ballet produces also theatre performances aimed at younger audiences.
Fičo Ballet has also collaborated with the Nomad Dance Academy, for the NOMAD Education Programme 2008 launched by the Balkan Dance Network. This initiative is dedicated to providing practical and theoretical knowledges from the field of performing arts and enabling artistic exchange between 12 emerging contemporary dancers from the Balkans in order to create a network for future artistic collaborations. Other partners include Eks Scena, Croatia; Tala Dance Center,Croatia; Station - Service for Contemporary Dance, Serbia; Lokomotiva - Center for New Initiatives in Arts and Culture, Macedonia; and the Brain Store Project, Bulgaria.
Attempting to bring democracy to high art, Fičo Ballet also provide an on-going, weekly training to all interested in movement and dance as well as give workshops and lectures.
Fičo Ballet are members of the Asociacija, Association of Arts and Culture NGOs and Freelancers of Slovenia. They are also part of the Informal European Theatre Meeting (IETM) network.
