Exodos Institute

Established in 1999, Exodos Institute is a non-profit, independent theatre and dance production centre, which organises the Exodos International Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts (biennial since 2011).

Exodos's permanent in situ project involves the creation of a Labyrinth of Art, a living space for walking and contemplation on the outer edge of Ljubljana, based on an idea by Venelin Shurelov, created in the framework of the World Book Capital Ljubljana 2010 project.

Plesna izba - Maribor Dance Room

Plesna izba Maribor (Maribor Dance Room) has played a vital educational and cultural role in Maribor, introducing young people to contemporary artistic creation and providing opportunities for them to develop as performers through high-quality dance productions. It offers an extensive programme of dance and drumming education and stages performances that mainly showcase its own emerging talent.

The organisation was established in 1994 by Minka Veselič Kološa, a pioneer of contemporary dance education approaches in Slovenia.
