Organised by the Brumen Foundation, the Biennial of Slovene Visual Communication seeks to provide a platform for visual design in Slovenia and internationally. The exhibition, accompanied by a catalogue, presents overview of Slovene visual communications design in the last two years and is assessed by an international jury, whose members present their own work in a series of lectures and an exhibition called the International Design Event. The Brumen Award and Special Acknowledgements are granted to the best works in individual categories. The 4th Biennial took place in National Gallery of Slovenia in October 2009.
