Located within the MKC Prlekija Youth Centre, [[Prlekija Regional Multimedia Centre]] is a part of the [[M3C Multimedia Centres Network of Slovenia]] which serves the region between Podravje and Pomurje, with the aim of promoting multimedia creativity and thereby opening up new possibilities in the areas of communication, education and creative work. New technology is accessible free of charge to anyone interested in digital culture and new media resources. Free Internet access and use of ICT equipment enables the local population to become acquainted with new media and produce multimedia projects. To date several intermedia artistic projects and civil society programmes have been implemented via the Centre's social activities, workshops and entertainment programmes.
