Libris Bookstore in Piran-Pirano was opened in 1997 and the Antiquariat Libris in Koper-Capodistria in 2000. The latter is located not far from the main Libris Koper bookstore, which also functions as a venue for various events. In 2004 a new bookstore was opened in Izola-Isola old town.
A special task of the Libris bookstores is to promote the literature of the Slovene Istria region.
