Under the auspices of Radio Študent, The TRESK Festival has been presenting a confrontation of music and publishing for fifteen years. Through visual competitions, discussions, concerts, and club events, TRESK addresses the independent music scene and weaves a social network of musicians, visual creators, publishers, distributors, organizers, media, traders, and, last but not least, supporters and listeners.

-[[TRESK Festival]] is an annual two-day music event co-organised by [[Radio Študent (RŠ)]] and [[Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture]]. The first edition of the TRESK Festival happened in [[established::2009]] in Kino Šiška, which is the main festival venue. Its primal goal is to represent Slovene music publishing, Slovene music labels, underground local bands and the situation on Slovene music scene in general, which is problematised through various debates and discussions. During the festival there is also a marketplace for domestic record label merchandise and a flea market with old music records.

-The music programme generally consists of Slovene alternative bands and performers who release music under the [[Radio Študent (RŠ)|RŠ record label]], such as [[Errorist]], [[Amper-O-Mat]], [[Zmajev rep]], [[Incurabili]], [[ZircuS]], [[Dance Mamblita]], [[Broken Lock]], [[Nikki Louder]], [[TRUS!]],  [[Dubzilla]] and [[Siti hlapci]] as well as guest appearances by distinguished artists ([[Čompe]], [[Noctiferia]], [[Werefox]], [[N’Toko]], [[Moveknowledgement]], [[Coma Stereo]]). Sometimes foreign guests such as Repetitor, Byetone and Legowelt are also invited.
