In 2010 the Arhitektura Krušec architectural office received the prestigious Plečnik Award for the new Faculty of Biotechnology building. The award is bestowed annually by the Plečnik Fund, that grants also Plečnik Medals – in 2007 the team received the Plečnik Medal for the building of Alpine hotel Celjska koča.

Besides the prominent Plečnik Award, the Arhitektura Krušec received several other awards, among them also the Golden Pencil Award for the Skalne vile apartment building in Celje, and the Farewell chapel at Teharje cemetary (2008).
